Доклад «Глобальный индекс милитаризации» указывает на стремительную милитаризацию Азербайджана и Армении

Боннский международный центр конверсии опубликовал ежегодный «Глобальный индекс милитаризации», согласно которому Азербайджан входит в первую десятку самых милитаризованных стран мира.

Как передает 1news.az со ссылкой на Newsru, индекс милитаризованности определяется как соотношение оборонного бюджета государства и его валового внутреннего продукта.

Также в расчет принимаются расходы на образование, здравоохранение и ряд других факторов.

В документе отмечается стремительное вооружение Азербайджана и Армении, которое дает основания опасаться возобновления нагорно-карабахского конфликта. Другие опасные точки связаны с территориальными спорами между КНР и ее соседями.

Несмотря на то, что по степени милитаризации Китай находится на 82 месте, его военный бюджет в 129 миллиардов долларов – второй в мире.

Турция занимает в рейтинге милитаризации 24-ю строчку с 609 баллами, Ирак – 26-ю, Египет – 28-ю. У США, обладающих самым высоким оборонным бюджетом в мире, он составляет 689 миллиардов долларов, - 29-я строка с 591 баллом.
