Азербайджан призывает Армению к переменам и отказу от статус-кво.

Глава отдела политического анализа и информационного обеспечения в Администрации президента Эльнур Асланов утверждает, что недавние выборы в Нагорном Карабахе наносят ущерб мирному процессу.

В комментарии для GUN.AZ, цитирует News.az, Асланов заявил: "Позиция Баку в отношении так называемых  "выборов" в Нагорном Карабахе совершенно ясна. Он отметил, что Европейский Союз и другие международные организации и многие страны осудили это шоу, происходящее в Карабахе, и выразили свое четкое мнение." "Режим в Нагорном Карабахе делает то, что говорит Армения. Любые предпринимаемые там шаги наносят ущерб мирному переговорному процессу."

Азербайджанские интернет медиа также цитируют следующие слова Асланова: "Мы всегда придерживались той точки зрения, что Армения должна демонстрировать конструктивную позицию по данному вопросу, не стремиться сохранить существующее статус-кво в регионе, а предпринимать шаги, направленные на изменение ситуации с целью обеспечения регионального мира и стабильности."
