24 августа: Азербайджан объявил четырех французских депутатов, посетивших Нагорный Карабах, персонами нон-грата и послал ноту официального протеста в Министерство иностранных дел Франции. В заявлении пресс-секретаря французского МИД Бернар Валер сообщил,

По заявлениям официального представителя МИД Азербайджана Эльмана Абдуллаева во вторник, нота протеста, переданная послом Азербайджана в Париже, требует объяснений визита.

"Депутатов, которые совершили незаконное посещение оккупированных территорий Азербайджана и тем самым проявили неуважение к суверенитету и территориальной целостности Азербайджана, будут объявлены персонами нон-грата", передает 1news.az слова Абдуллаева.

МИД Франции ответил, что этот визит осуществлялся не по линии Национальной ассамблеи Франции, а по личной инициативе председателя комиссии по национальной обороне и вооруженным силам Национального Собрания Франции Ги Тесье, по сообщениям Trend.

По сообщению Regnum, оккупированные территории Азербайджана посетила делегация депутатов парламента Франции, возглавляемая Ги Тесье. В состав делегации вошли Валери Буае, Жорж Коломбие и Жак Ремиле.

По сообщению Regnum, Ги Тесье на встрече с представителями сепаратистского режима Нагорного Карабаха отметил, что, посещая Карабах, они демонстрируют свою солидарность с ним.
