Азербайджан готов подписать с Евросоюзом документ о стратегическом партнерстве

Как сообщает информационное агентство АПА, Азербайджан готов подписать с Евросоюзом документ о стратегическом партнерстве.

Об этом 2 февраля заявил глава МИД Азербайджана Эльмар Мамедъяров. По его словам, Азербайджан уже представил ЕС проект документа о стратегическом партнерстве: "В конце месяца верховный комиссар ЕС по иностранным делам и политике безопасности Федерика Могерини совершит визит в Азербайджан. Ожидаем, что ЕС официально приступит к рассмотрению этого вопроса. Азербайджан готов к переговорам."

Азербайджан последовательно отказывался от Соглашения об ассоциации с ЕС, наподобии того, что заключили ЕС и Грузия.

Азербайджан не раз заявлял о том, что желает стратегических отношений с ЕС, и что хочет перенести часть работы, которую он проделал на двусторонней основе со странами-членами ЕС в общее стратегическое соглашение.

ЕС со своей стороны заявлял, что готов приступить к работе по разработке такого рода отношений.

According to AP, Putin addressed Xi as “dear friend” and said that Moscow’s ties with Beijing are “at an unprecedentedly high level.” Following their formal talks, they planned to have another meeting over tea with some of their top aides. The talks come the day after both attended a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the nearby Chinese city of Tianjin, and the day before a grand Chinese military parade in Beijing to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
