Армянские церкви по всему миру, и церкви других христианских конфессий сто раз ударили в свои колокола в четверг вечером, когда армянский народ вспоминал жертв событий 1915 года, которое иногда характеризуется как геноцида армян. От Церкви-Матери в Эчмиадзин до собора Сент-Джеймс в Иерусалиме, маленьких церквей армянских общин, в том числе в мусульманских странах, таких, как в Абу-Даби и Шарджае, звенели колокола по памяти тех, кто погиб в те дни.
