Россия усилит свои военные базы на Южном Кавказе.

Россия усилит потенциал своих военных баз за рубежом в качестве гаранта безопасности регионов в которых они прибывают, заявил на 4-ой Международной конференции по безопасности в Москве Глава Генерального штаба РФ, Валерий Герасимов.

Российское информационное агентство ИТАР-ТАСС процитировала Герасимова, заявившего, что "в рамках долгосрочных соглашений с Абхазией, Арменией, Кыргызстаном, Таджикистаном и Южной Осетией, потенциал российских военных баз, расположенных на их территориях, в настоящее время усиливается. Это гарантирует безопасность и стратегическую стабильность в этих регионах."
