В Армении назначен новый министр обороны. Виген Саркисян был назначен главой Министерства обороны. Министр иностранных дел Эдвард Налбандян сохранил свой пост.
Эти назначения стали последними в серий перестановок в правительстве Армении с приходом нового премьер-министра.

До своего назначения на пост министра обороны Виген Саркисян занимал должность руководителя аппарата президента.
