Республиканская партия консолидирует власть в Армении

Правящая Республиканская партия во главе с президентом Сержем Саргсяном, как и ожидалось, стала победителем на парламентских выборах, прошедших в Армении в воскресенье (2 апреля). За партию проголосовало около половины принявших участие в выборах избирателей. На втором месте расположился Альянс Царукяна, набравший около 28% голосов. Две другие политические партии - про реформистская коалиция «Елк» и Дашнакская АРФ скорее всего преодолеют минимальный порог и будут представлены в парламенте.

В выборах приняли участие 1,544,974 из зарегистрированных 2,587,706 избирателей, что составляет 60,86%.

В целом выборы прошли мирно, но были зарегистрированы сотни жалоб. Также в ходе вчерашнего голосования поступали сообщения о подкупе голосов и значительных нарушениях тайны голосования.

Ожидается, что наблюдатели от БДИПЧ ОБСЕ, Совета Европы и Европейского парламента предоставят свои предварительные результаты по выборам на пресс-конференции в Ереване, в 16.00 по местному времени.
