Эрдоган, как ожидается, надавит на Тегеран признать, что смена режима в Сирии является неизбежным и полностью попросит изменить свою неизменную поддержку президенту Башара аль-Асаду, сообщает турецкая Todays Zaman.Турецкий лидер, как ожидается, обнародует опасения по поводу политики Ирана по поддержанию шиитского премьер-министра Ирака Нури аль-Малики, что едва ли конструктивно.

Иран, с другой стороны, скорее всего, ищит расширения сотрудничества с Турцией на фоне западных санкций в качестве средства для давления на Тегеран в прекращении его ядерной программы. Иран, по данным турецких источников близких к переговорам в среду, хочет расширения экономического сотрудничества с Турцией, которая проложит путь для масштабных инвестиций в Турции из растущих нефтегазовых доходов.

LINKS Europe has successfully completed the first phase of its project to develop the Armenia-Azerbaijan dialogue as part of its commitment within the EU4Peace III programme, funded by the European Union. In this first phase, which lasted from September 2024 to April 2025, LINKS Europe conducted an assessment of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and mobilised the personnel necessary for delivering the project output. LINKS Europe Foundation is pleased to announce the names of the chairs/co-chairs of the five thematic groups within the initiative.
