Омбудсмен Венгрии вновь потребовал от властей страны представить документы по экстрадиции азербайджанского убийцы

Омбудсмен Венгрии Мате Сабо вновь потребовал от властей страны представить документы по экстрадиции азербайджанского убийцы Рамиля Сафарова.

Как передает www.budapesttimes.hu, Сабо, в частности, выразил недовольство в связи с тем, что правительство Венгрии с 19 сентября по сей день не удовлетворило его запрос и не предоставило документы о передаче Сафарова Азербайджану. В своем новом письме правительству Омбудсмен, в частности, подчеркнул, что законодательство Венгрии не позволяет экстрадицию преступника без весомых гарантий на то, что он продолжит отбывать наказание на родине. Мате выражает сомнение относительно того, что у правительства Венгрии были подобные гарантии при экстрадиции Сафарова, в связи с этим он требует от правительства, документы, которые доказали бы наличие гарантий со стороны Баку.

Отметим, что азербайджанский убийца Рамиль Сафаров зарубил топором спящего армянского офицера в 2004 году в Будапеште в рамках учений НАТО, за что был приговорен венгерским судом к пожизненному заключению. Однако 31 августа текущего года он был экстрадирован в Азербайджан, где был помилован указом президента Ильхама Алиева. В вязи  с экстрадицией Сафарова Армения была вынуждена прервать дипотношения с Будапештом.
