Маргвелашвили избран в качестве нового президента Грузии. Бакрадзе признал поражение.

Что многим казалось невозможным на Кавказе произошло сегодня в Грузии. Президент, чей срок завершился покинул пост, а на его место был избран новый президент через выборы, которые оказались самыми лучшими в истории всего региона. Его оппонент достойно признал свое поражение и поздравил победителя. И человек, который все это сделал возможным и, который мог бы стать президентом, если он того захотел бы, сейчас собирается подать в отставку с поста премьер-министра.

Для тех, кто следил за историей Грузии последние два с половиной десятилетия этот день стал знаменательным. Несмотря на не очень высокую явку, которая составила 45%, победа Маргвелашвили достаточно убедительная для обеспечения его легитимности на посту и кредита доверия населения. Проблемы Грузии не испарились этим осенним воскресеньем, но ее перспективы стали куда лучше, че когда-либо за ее современную историю.

LINKS Europe has successfully completed the first phase of its project to develop the Armenia-Azerbaijan dialogue as part of its commitment within the EU4Peace III programme, funded by the European Union. In this first phase, which lasted from September 2024 to April 2025, LINKS Europe conducted an assessment of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and mobilised the personnel necessary for delivering the project output. LINKS Europe Foundation is pleased to announce the names of the chairs/co-chairs of the five thematic groups within the initiative.
