К 2012 году число посетивших НКР иностранцев приблизится к 15 тысячам

"В очередной раз мы стали свидетелями реакции международной организации  на незавидную ситуацию с соблюдением общечеловеческих ценностей в Азербайджане", - заявил АрмИнфо представитель  Управления туризма и охраны исторической среды Нагорного Карабаха Сергей Саргсян, комментируя включение Азербайджана со стороны online-туристического указателя http://www.travelvivi.com в число 5-ти стран, посещение которых связано с рисками.  Кроме Азербайджана в перечне указываются Папуа-Новая Гвинея, Египет, Лаос и Гаити.

Советуя воздерживаться от посещения этих стран или же проявлять крайнюю осторожность в случае посещения, сайт предупреждает об угрозах, ожидающих иностранцев в Азербайджане: туристы могут подвергнуться физическому нападению и иным опасностям по этническому, религиозному, расовому и другим признакам.  Отмечается также, что в Азербайджане, "стране, сформировшейся в начале 20 века, существуют проблемы, связанные со свободой слова и СМИ". В подкрепление всего вышесказанного приводится факт экстрадиции, помилования и героизации в Азербайджане Рамиля Сафарова, зарубившего спящего армянского офицера Гургена Маргаряна.

"Совершенно иное отношение туристических агентств и средств массовой информации к Нагорно-Карабахской Республике. К примеру, в марте сего года Нагорный Карабах был включен американским телеканалом ABC News в список семи оригинальных мест для посещения в 2012 году. Поток иностранных туристов в Нагорный Карабах год от года увеличивается. В прошлом году число посетивших НКР иностранных граждан превысило 10 тысяч. Нынешние темпы свидетельствуют о том, что в 2012 году их число приблизится к 15 тысячам", - сказал  Сергей Саргсян.

"The skies are calm, the guns are silent, the sirens are still and the sun rises on a Holy Land that is finally at peace," Trump told the Knesset, Israel's parliament, saying a "long nightmare" for both Israelis and Palestinians was over.
