Армения строит объездную дорогу в Тавушской области, чтобы избежать обстрелов с азербайджанской стороны.

Стартовали восстановительные работы на окружной дороге на участке Цахкаван-Ицакар-Гандзакар автодороги республиканского значения Айгеовит-Вазашен-Паравакар-Айгепар, в Тавушской области на севере Армении. Это последовало за инцидентом, произошедшим в октябре, когда проезжающие по данному участку машины, попали под обстрел со стороны азербайджанских воинских частей. 

Этот регион расположен далеко от зоны конфликта и линии соприкосновения и ранее в нем царило в основном спокойствие. Азербайджанская сторона в октябре не подтвердила и не прокомментировала инцидент.

Армянское Агентство Медиамакс сообщает, что длина окружной дороги составляет 3,8 км и она проходит через лес. Ожидается, что строительство займет от четырех до шести недель.
