Армения отмечает День независимости.

Армения в понедельник (21 сентября) отмечает 24-ю годовщину своей независимости.

Президент Серж Саргсян в сопровождении Католикоса Всех Армян Гарегина II и президента самопровозглашенной Нагорно-Карабахской Республики Бако Саакянп посетил военный пантеон Ераблур и воздал должную память тех, кто отдал свою жизнь за независимость страны.

Президент Саргсян также получил поздравительные телеграммы от мировых лидеров, включая президента Обаму США, президента России Владимира Путина и президента Германии Гаука.
