Армения и Азербайджан готовятся к обмену военнопленными.

Международный Комитет Красного Креста (МККК) в течение последних нескольких дней интенсивно контактирует с правительствами Армении и Азербайджана для содействия в обмене двух военнопленных. Представители делегации МККК в Баку и в Ереване находятся в контакте с  Министерствами обороны этих стран и они также уже навестили военнопленных.

В ночь с 7-8 августа, армянский солдат Акоп Инджигулян забрел на территорию, контролируемую азербайджанской армией в Агдамском направлении, и попал в плен. Азербайджанский солдат Фируз Фараджев был заключен в тюрьму армянской стороной в течение некоторого времени и ранее  армянские власти сообщали, что он не желает возвращаться в Азербайджан. Однако, в последние дни армянская сторона заявила, что он передумал и выразил желание вернуться в Азербайджан.

Пока еще не ясно, когда состоится обмен пленными, но, вероятно, это произойдет в ближайшее время.
