Спецпредставитель ЕС обсудил конфликтные регионы с грузинским министром

Специальный представитель Европейского Союза на Южном Кавказе Тойво Клаар в пятницу (3 июля) встретился в Тбилиси с министром иностранных дел Грузии Давидом Залкалиани.

В заявлении, размещенном на веб-сайте грузинского министерства, говорится, что стороны обсудили сложную ситуацию в области безопасности и гуманитарную ситуацию в абхазском и цхинвальском регионах в результате российской оккупации и пандемии Коронавируса (COVID-19). «Особое внимание было уделено необходимости эффективного и активного участия Европейского Союза в урегулировании российско-грузинского конфликта и обеспечении мира и безопасности на местах».

В заявлении говорится, что спецпредставитель ЕС подтвердил поддержку ЕС суверенитету и территориальной целостности Грузии.

На встрече также присутствовал заместитель министра иностранных дел Грузии Лаша Дарсалия.
