Шойгу посетил российскую военную базу в Армении

102-я российская военная база, расположенная в городе Гюмри в Армении, почти удвоит свой боевой потенциал после того, как она будет перевооружена новыми и модернизированными системами вооружения, заявил во вторник (29 октября) во время визита министра обороны России Сергея Шойгу командующий базой полковник Николай Мартынюк.

Шойгу осмотрел базу в ходе визита. Его сопровождал начальник штаба Южного военного округа России генерал-лейтенант Сергей Кузовлев.

Ожидается, что во время своего однодневного визита в Армению министр обороны России встретится с премьер-министром Армении Никол Пашиняном.
