Заявление Службы внешних действий Европейского Союза по поводу событий в Ереване

Служба внешних действий Европейского Союза выступила с заявлением, осуждающим события в Ереване.

"Последние события происходящие в столице Армении, Ереване, в связи с захваченным полицейским участком в Эребуни, очень тревожны. Мы призываем к немедленному освобождению медицинского персонала, который удерживается в качестве заложников.

"В то же время, мы вновь призываем власти Армении воздерживаться от чрезмерного применения силы со стороны полиции. Кроме того, демонстранты должны воздерживаться от насилия в осуществлении своих гражданских прав.

Применение силы и насилия ради достижения политических перемен не приемлемо. Конфликты должны решаться путем политического диалога с уважением демократии, верховенства права и основных свобод".
