Работа спецкомитета по Нагорному Карабаху в ПАСЕ приостановлена

Работа специального комитета по Нагорному Карабаху в Бюро ПАСЕ приостановлена. Об этом АрмИнфо сообщил источник в армянской делегации ПАСЕ.  

“Работа спецкомитета приостановлена по причине ее нецелесообразности, чему свидетельствует неэффективная работа комитета в прошлом”, - отметил источник. Он добавил, что факт смены турецкого председателя Ассамблеи на французского, возымел свое действие в решении данного вопроса.

Спецкомитет ПАСЕ по Нагорному Карабаху, сформированный по рекомендации резолюции ПАСЕ от 2006 года, после смерти своего руководителя лорда Рассела Джонстона несколько лет не функционировал. В начале 2011 года подкомитет был реанимирован по инициативе председателя ПАСЕ, турецкого депутата Мовлюта Чавушоглу.
