Пресс-служба НАТО:

Представители Североатлантического альянса находятся в Ереване с рабочим визитом. Эту информацию подтвердили корреспонденту АрмИнфо в пресс-службе штаб-квартиры НАТО.

Источник не уточнил, кто именно и с какой повесткой находится в Ереване. “Это регулярный рабочий визит представителей Альянса в страну, которая является партнером НАТО. Такого рода визиты не предаются огласке, поэтому повестку визита я также не могу вам сообщить”, - отметила представительница пресс-службы.  

В свою очередь, Информационным центр НАТО в Армении сообщил о том, что в Ереван прибудут глава директората НАТО по оборонной политике и планированию Фрэнк Боланд и помощник генсека НАТО по оборонной политике и вопросам планирования, посол Хусейн Дириоз. Сегодня уже представители Альянса проведут встречи в МИД и министерстве обороны Армении, в ходе которых будут обсуждены итоги реализации Арменией Плана индивидуального партнерства (IPAP) и Процессов планирования и оценки (PARP).

Turkey is negotiating with Qatar and Oman to acquire used Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets as part of its effort to bolster its air force capabilities. Following a three-day tour of Kuwait, Qatar, and Oman last week in which he oversaw the signing of several agreements, including in the defense sector, President  Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkey aims to purchase dozens of Eurofighters and other advanced jets as a stopgap measure to strengthen its fleet until its domestically developed fifth-generation KAAN fighter jet becomes operational.
