Правящая в Армении Республиканская партия одерживает победу на парламентских выборах

По положению на 09.00 по местному времени в Армении обработаны бюллетени со всех 1982 избирательных участков, которые свидетельствует об очередном успехе правящей Республиканской партии.

Согласно данным Центральной избирательной комиссии Армении, за РПА, возглавляемой президентом РА Сержем Саргсяном,  проголосовали 550.512 избирателей, что составляет 44.51% от общего числа граждан страны, принявших участие в голосовании. На втором месте партия "Процветающая Армения" во главе с известным предпринимателем Гагиком Царукяном - 375325 голосов (30.34%). На  третьем месте оказался оппозиционный Армянский национальный конгресс (АНК) во главе с первым президентом Армении Левоном Тер-Петросяном-  85.102 голоса или 6.89%. Далее голоса распределились следующим образом:  Армянская революционная федерация "Дашнакцутюн" (АРФД) - 69.644 (5.63%),  партия "Наследие" -

69.325 или 5.6% и партия "Оринац еркир" -  67.209 (5.43%).

Аутсайдерами выборов стали Коммунистическая партия, набравшая КПА -12.939 или 1,5% голосов избирателей, Демократическая партия Демпартия - 4328 или 0,35% и "Объединенные армяне" - 2496 - 0,2%.

Таким образом, можно констатировать, что в Национальное Собрание пятого созыва проходят пять политических сил - Республиканская партия, партия "Процветающая партия",  АРФД, партия "Наследие" и партия "Оринац еркир".

Из 2 млн 482 тысячи 238 избирателей в парламентских выборах приняли участие 51,53%, или 1 млн 300 тысяч 117 человек. В ходе голосования представители оппозиционных сил постоянно сообщали об имевших место нарушениях. По случаям избирательных подкупов были возбуждены уголовные дела в отношении представителей "Процветающей Армении". Согласно Избирательному кодексу Армении, для прохождения в парламент партии должны набрать не менее 5% голосов избирателей, а блок - 7%. АНК является единственным блоком, участвующим в выборах в парламент. Национальное Собрание состоит из 131 депутата.

Turkiye to host COP31 in 2026

A consensus has emerged during COP 30, currently being held in Belan, Brazil, that COP 31 will be held in the Turkish city of Antalya, in 2026. In 2026 Turkiye will host another global event, the NATO leaders summit. Turkiye is set to host COP31 after reaching compromise with Australia.  The COP31 climate meeting is now expected to be held in Turkey after Australia dropped its bid to host the annual event. Under the UN rules, the right to host the COP in 2026 falls to a group of countries made up of Western Europe, Australia and others. A consensus must be reached but neither country had been willing to concede. Australia has now agreed to support the Turkish bid in return for their minister chairing the talks following negotiations at COP30, currently being held in Brazil. This unusual arrangement has taken observers by surprise. It is normal for a COP president to be from the host country and how this new partnership will work in practice remains to be seen. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has called the compromise with Turkey an "outstanding result" in an interview with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), noting Pacific issues would be "front and centre". He added that he had spoken to Papua New Guinea Prime Minister James Marape and Prime Minister Rabuka of Fiji. There will be relief among countries currently meeting at COP30 in the Brazilian city of Belém that a compromise has been reached as the lack of agreement on the venue was becoming an embarrassment for the UN.
