Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan arrived in Georgia on a working visit and held talks with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in Tbilisi on Wednesday 4 March.
The visit included a bilateral meeting between the two leaders and the 15th session of the Georgia–Armenia Intergovernmental Economic Cooperation Commission, attended by government representatives from both countries.
At a joint briefing, Pashinyan said the discussions focused on bilateral economic cooperation as well as regional and international issues. He thanked Kobakhidze for supporting the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan and noted Georgia’s role in facilitating regional dialogue and cooperation.
Pashinyan also reaffirmed Armenia’s support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, expressing hope that lasting peace would prevail across the region.
Kobakhidze described relations between the two countries as a strategic partnership based on mutual respect and shared interests. He emphasised the importance of strengthening cooperation between Armenia and Georgia amid a complex regional environment.
