Президенты Ирана и Азербайджана встретились в Баку

Президент Азербайджана Ильхам Алиев в четверг (24 октября) принял в президентском дворце в Баку президента Исламской республики Иран Хасана Роухани.

Роухани находится в Баку во главе большой делегации для участия в саммите глав государств и правительств Движения неприсоединения. Азербайджан на этой неделе возглавит Движение на следующие три года.

Обмениваясь приветствиями перед началом переговоров, президенты подчеркнули, что отношения между Ираном и Азербайджаном находятся на высшем уровне, и сотрудничество между двумя странами развивается во всех областях. Президент Алиев напомнил, что он встречался со своим иранским коллегой десять раз за последние несколько лет, и сказал, что эти встречи задали тон прекрасным отношениям, которые сейчас существуют между двумя странами.
