Хачатуров освобожден от должности Генерального секретаря ОДКБ

Юрий Хачатуров в пятницу был освобожден от обязанностей Генерального секретаря Организации Договора о коллективной безопасности (ОДКБ) по решению Совета коллективной безопасности Организации. Этот шаг произошел по инициативе Армении.

ОДКБ обсудит назначение нового генерального секретаря на своем следующем саммите в Астане, который должен состояться 8 ноября. Об этом агентству ТАСС сообщил пресс-секретарь премьер-министра Армении Арман Егоян. Егоян не стал говорить, выдвенет ли Армения кого-то другого на эту должность.

Армения настаивает на том, что, поскольку этот пост должен был быть за ней по принципу ротации, практикуемому в ОДКБ, она имеет право выдвинуть замену Хачатурову.

26 июля Специальная следственная служба Армении обвинила Хачатурова в свержении конституционного порядка в 2008 году и потребовала его ареста. Хачатуров, который был командующим Армянским гарнизоном вооруженных сил Армении еще в 2008 году, не признал себя виновным.

LINKS Europe has successfully completed the first phase of its project to develop the Armenia-Azerbaijan dialogue as part of its commitment within the EU4Peace III programme, funded by the European Union. In this first phase, which lasted from September 2024 to April 2025, LINKS Europe conducted an assessment of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and mobilised the personnel necessary for delivering the project output. LINKS Europe Foundation is pleased to announce the names of the chairs/co-chairs of the five thematic groups within the initiative.
