Налбандян в Перу. Министр иностранных дел Армении заявил о запланированной встрече с министром иностранных дел Азербайджана в Париже, в конце этого месяца.

Министр иностранных дел Армении Эдвард Налбандян начал свою дипломатическую деятельность в 2014 с официального визита в Перу, первый визит главы МИД Армении в эту латиноамериканскую страну. 

Выступая в министерстве иностранных дел Перу в Лиме, ​​Налбандян заявил, что у него запланирована встреча со своим азербайджанским коллегой Эльмаром Мамедъяровым в Париже, во второй половине января. Встреча состоится в рамках работы сопредседателей Минской группы ОБСЕ. В последний раз оба министра встречались в декабре, в Киеве, в кулуарах Конференции министров ОБСЕ. Мамедъяров и Налбандян пытаются продвинуть переговоры, направленные на урегулирование нагорно-карабахского конфликта. Министров попросили поработать над этим вопросом после встречи президентов двух стран в Вене, в ноябре 2013 года.

В Перу Налбандяна принял министр иностранных дел этой страны Эда Ривас.
Дипломатические отношения между Арменией и Перу были установлены 9 сентября 1992 года. Министр иностранных дел Перу назвал визит Налбандяна важным импульсом в двусторонних отношениях. Перу хочет развивать свои отношения с Южным Кавказом, как сообщает источник в Министерстве.
