Эксперт:

В техническом плане очень сложно будет сбивать гражданские самолеты, осуществляющие рейсы Ереван-Степанакерт. Об этом сегодня на пресс-конференции заявил военный эксперт Арцрун Ованнисян, отвечая на вопрос АрмИнфо.

Напомним, что ранее азербайджанские должностные лица угрожали сбить любой самолет, выполняющий рейсы из Еревана в НКР. На это заявление президент Армении Серж Саргсян ответил, что он станет первым пассажиром самолета, который приземлится в Степанакертском аэропорту.

По словам Ованнисяна, рельеф Армении и НКР горный, в то время как азербайджанские средства ПВО расположены на равнинной местности, и это существенно осложняет работу последних.

"Хотя я считаю, что полностью исключать подобную вероятность нельзя, тем не менее, необходимость регулярных рейсов Ереван-Степанакерт не вызывает сомнений. Это очень важный фактор, значение которого трудно переоценить", - подытожил Ованнисян.
