ОДКБ приостанавливает усилия по развитию диалога с НАТО.

Организация Договора о коллективной безопасности (ОДКБ) решил приостановить усилия, направленные на установление диалога с НАТО. Генеральный секретарь ОДКБ, Николай Бордюжа, в четверг сообщил на парламентской ассамблее организации, что решение было принято с учетом того, что он описал как "неконструктивные и очень часто откровенно враждебные инициативы ЕС и НАТО по отношению к России и ОДКБ."

Он заявил, что ОДКБ будет проводить политику дальнейшего расширения сотрудничества с ОБСЕ, а также примет меры для укрепления сотрудничества с Шанхайской организацией сотрудничества, Китаем, Ираном и странами Латинской Америки и Карибского бассейна.

В ОДКБ входит Россия, Беларусь, Казахстан, Армения, Кыргызстан и Таджикистан. Армения является членом программы НАТО "Партнерство во имя мира". Президент Армении принял участие в недавнем саммите НАТО в Уэльсе. Пока не ясно, как эта новая политика ОДКБ окажет влияние на отношения Армении с НАТО.
