Азербайджан не торопится со встречей с Арменией

Азербайджан не торопится со встречей с Арменией на уровне президентов. Об этом было ясно сказано министром иностранных дел Эльмаром Мамедъяровым во время выступления перед журналистами во вторник в Баку. Министр заявил об этом на совместной пресс-конференции с министром иностранных дел Коста-Рики Мануэлем Гонсалес Санс.

Министр иностранных дел Азербайджана сообщил, что сопредседатели Минского процесса ОБСЕ прибудут в Ереван 26 октября, а затем 28 октября направятся в Баку.

"В связи со встречей президентов Азербайджана и Армении торопиться не следует," сказал министр, сообщает информ-агентство АПА.

Министр сказал, что есть два варианта организации встречи: "или президенты выберут место встречи, или сопредседатели приедут с готовым предложением. Во всех случаях мы ожидаем визит сопредседателей в регион."

Министр добавил, что Азербайджан примет участие в заседании Совета министров иностранных дел ОБСЕ в Белграде, в декабре.

The talks come the day after both attended a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the nearby Chinese city of Tianjin, and the day before a grand Chinese military parade in Beijing to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
