7 ноября: Российские Вооруженные силы создадут центр подготовки военнослужащих и агентов специальных подразделений для действий в горной местности, в Эльбрусе на турбазе Терскол в Кабардино-Балкарии в 2012 году, согласно сообщениям российских СМИ

Доклад приписывается заведующему кафедрой физического воспитания Вооруженных сил России Александру Украинецу. Украинец сказал: "Наш отдел физической культуры подготовил предложения по организации центра горной подготовки Вооруженных Сил в Кабардино-Балкарии, который планируется открыть в 2012 году. Практические занятия с воинскими частями в боевых действиях на горной местности будут проходить там. "

Украинец добавил, что подготовка горных инструкторов проходит на базе и сейчас, готовят как квалифицированных альпинистов так и новичков, которые получают навыки подготовки в горных операциях для участия в них.

По сообщениям Россия будет тренировать до 35 тысяч специалистов для боевых действиий в горной местности.

LINKS Europe has successfully completed the first phase of its project to develop the Armenia-Azerbaijan dialogue as part of its commitment within the EU4Peace III programme, funded by the European Union. In this first phase, which lasted from September 2024 to April 2025, LINKS Europe conducted an assessment of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and mobilised the personnel necessary for delivering the project output. LINKS Europe Foundation is pleased to announce the names of the chairs/co-chairs of the five thematic groups within the initiative.
