Hurriyet Daily News сообщает, что "дипломатические источники не сообщают, когда Тахсин Бурчуоглу начнет свою работу в Париже, но сказали, что его возвращение не будет затянуто. Французский парламент принял законопроект 22 декабря, но сенат и президент должны одобрить законопроект, чтобы его можно было реализовать. Если закон будет принят, то те, кто публично отрицает обвинения армянского геноцида будут наказаны штрафом в размере 45 тысяч евро и лишением свободы на один год".
