4 августа: Президента Барака Обаму поздравили с днем ​​рождения президент Армении Серж Саргсян и президент Азербайджана Ильхам Алиев и приветствовали отношения между их странами и Соединенными Штатами (агентства)

В своем послании президент Саргсян сказал, что "можно с уверенностью сказать, что двусторонние отношения между Республикой Армения и Соединенными Штатами Америки сегодня более прочны, чем когда-либо. Традиционные теплые отношения между нашими народами и, происходящий особенно в последний период, политический диалог высокого уровня между государствами имеют ощутимый потенциал дальнейшего развития и укрепления. Мы полны решимости углублять и еще более укреплять всесторонние связи между нашими странами во всех сферах, представляющих взаимный интерес."

В своем послании президент Алиев сказал, что "С чувством удовлетворения хотел бы отметить, что установившиеся между Азербайджанской Республикой и Соединенными Штатами Америки отношения дружбы и сотрудничества сегодня находятся на пути всестороннего и динамичного развития." Алиев также поблагодарил Обаму за его личные усилия по урегулированию карабахского конфликта.

Israel’s isolation is increasing as twenty eight countries including the United Kingdom and a majority of Member States of the European Union issued a joint statement on Monday 21 July saying the war in Gaza “must end now” and condemning Israel over 'inhumane killing' of Gaza civilians seeking aid. The foreign ministers of countries, also including Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, France, Italy and Japan, said “the suffering of civilians in Gaza has reached new depths.” The statement described as “horrifying” the recent deaths of over 800 Palestinians who were seeking aid, according to the figures released by Gaza’s Health Ministry and the U.N. human rights office.
