Завершилась встреча президентов Азербайджана, России и Армении

Саммит РФ, Азербайджана и Армении завершился без достижения договоренностей об основных принципах урегулирования в Нагорном Карабахе, но стороны констатировали прогресс на пути к этой цели, следует из совместного заявления по итогам саммита в Казани.

Как сообщает 1news.az со ссылкой на РИА Новости, лидеры РФ, Армении и Азербайджана Дмитрий Медведев, Серж Саргсян и Ильхам Алиев обсуждали в пятницу в Казани основные принципы нагорно-карабахского урегулирования.

«Главы государств констатировали достижение взаимопонимания по ряду вопросов, решение которых способствует созданию условий для одобрения основных принципов», - говорится в заявлении.

В документе сказано, что участники встречи рассмотрели ход работы, проводимой в целях согласования проекта основных принципов.

Президенты Азербайджана и Армении выразили признательность лидерам России, США и Франции, которые являются сопредседателями Минской группы ОБСЕ, «за их постоянное внимание к проблеме нагорно-карабахского урегулирования». Они высоко оценили личные усилия президента РФ по содействию достижению договоренностей, сказано в совместном заявлении.

Казанский саммит - это девятая трехсторонняя встреча на высшем уровне с 2008 года и вторая в текущем году. Предыдущий саммит прошел 5 марта в Сочи.
