Военный эксперт:

Вопрос о вводе миротворцев в зону нагорно-карабахского конфликта  встанет после начала второго этапа переговоров, то есть вовлечения Нагорно-Карабахской Республики в переговорный процесс для обсуждения основных принципов урегулирования. Такое мнение выразил в среду на пресс-конференции в Ереване военный эксперт Арцрун Ованнисян.

Ованнисян отметил положительное развитие процесса урегулирования после недавних заявлений в Довиле, добавив, что, по его мнению, президент Азербайджана Алиев не стремится к урегулированию нагорно-карабахского конфликта, а его воинственные заявления больше нацелены на общественность.

Присутствовавший на пресс-конференции политолог Сергей Шакарянц отметил о значении  Ирана в нагорно-карабахском конфликте.

"Нельзя забывать о роли Ирана, который всегда выражал заинтересованность в данном вопросе. Возможно, карабахский вопрос стоит в повестке и сегодняшней встречи президента ИРИ с российским лидером Дмитрием Медведевым", - сказал он.

Отметим, что очередная встреча президентов Армении и Азербайджана состоится при посредничестве президента РФ 25 июня в Казани.

Thailand and Cambodia have agreed to hold talks in Malaysia on Monday in an attempt to negotiate an end to a conflict that has lasted four days. Thailand said on Sunday a delegation led by acting Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai would attend, after US President Donald Trump called the leaders of both countries on Saturday to press for an immediate ceasefire. The Thai government said it had been told by Malaysia that Cambodian Prime Minister Hum Manet would also attend. At least 33 soldiers and civilians have been killed while thousands of Thai and Cambodian nationals have been displaced since border fighting broke out on 24 July.
