Турецкий народ вышел на улицы в знак протеста против военного переворота

В пятницу вечером на улицы Турции по всей стране вышли тысячи людей в знак протеста против попытки государственного переворота вооруженными силами. К этому их призвал президент Турции Реджеп Тайип Эрдоган, который призвал выйти и защитить турецкую демократию.

Переворот начался поздно вечером в пятницу, когда танки заняли стратегические позиции в Анкаре и Стамбуле. В заявлении распространненом в эфире государственного телевидения, здание которого было захвачено военными, говорилось о формировании «Мирного совета», военного положения и комендантского часа. Однако, после обращения президента Эрдогана тысячи людей устремились на улицы в знак протеста против переворота. Турецкое правительство говорит, что в перевороте участвовали только часть военных, и они надеются взять ситуацию под контроль в течение нескольких часов.
