Сотрудники Красного Креста навестили пленненных в Кельбаджаре азербайджанцев

3 февраля сотрудники Международного комитета красного креста (МККК) посетили азербайджанцев, которые были взяты в плен в Кяльбаджаре.

Через сотрудников МККК задержанные и содержащиеся в Нагорном Карабахе азербайджанцы и их близкие обменялись информацией.

В июле прошлого года гражданин России Дильгам Аскеров и гражданин Азербайджана Шахбаз Гулиев в Кяльбаджаре при попытке посетить могилы своих родственников были взяты в плен. Другой же гражданин Азербайджана - Гасан Гасанов был убит.

В соответствии со своим мандатом МККК осуществляет посещения для того, чтобы провести мониторинг условий содержания и обращения с задержанными, а также обеспечить связь заложников с их семьями.

В конце прошлого года МККК передал сторонам в конфликте обновленный список, содержащий имена 4496 человек, которых его делегации в Баку и Ереване и представительство в Нагорном Карабахе зарегистрировали как пропавших без вести.

МККК работает в этом регионе с 1992 года, и выяснение участи лиц, пропавших без вести в связи с конфликтом, является одной из основных задач организации.

At least 33 soldiers and civilians have been killed while thousands of Thai and Cambodian nationals have been displaced since border fighting broke out on 24 July.
