Президент Армении:

Документ, лежащий на столе переговоров по урегулированию карабахского конфликта, – не есть воплощение армянской мечты. Такое мнение выразил президент Армении Серж Саргсян во время вопросов и ответов, последовавших вслед за выступлением главы государства в ПАСЕ.

“Это не тот документ, о котором мечтала бы Армения, но он дает возможность подготовить  базу для общего соглашения и подписания соглашения”, - заявил Саргсян. Он добавил, что армянская сторона расчитывает на конструктивный подход со стороны Азербайджана.

“Азербайджан заявлял, что готов к военному пути разрешения конфликта, забывая о нарушении первого принципа, принцип территориальной целостности, широко принятого в мире”, - отметил президент. Он отметил, что Азербайджан признает принцип территориальной целостности, но не в случае Нагорного Карабаха, что не может считаться справедливым. “Для нас и для Азербайджана будет правильнее инвестировать ресурсы в развитие стран, а не в военные действия, как способ разрешения проблем. Народ Нагорного Карабаха должен быть хозяином своей судьбы, он должен иметь право жить свободно и безопасно на своей территории”, - резюмировал Саргсян.

Напомним, что 24 июня в Казани состоится очередная встреча президентов Армении и Азербайджана при посредничестве МГ ОБСЕ.

The Thai government said it had been told by Malaysia that Cambodian Prime Minister Hum Manet would also attend. At least 33 soldiers and civilians have been killed while thousands of Thai and Cambodian nationals have been displaced since border fighting broke out on 24 July.
