Великобритания высылает из страны российских дипломатов

Заявления премьер-министра Великобритании Терезы Мэй в причастности России к отравлению Сергея и Юлии Скрипалей МИД назвал «беспрецедентно грубой провокацией», подрывающей диалог между двумя странами.

Помимо этого она объявила о ряде экономических мер, включая приостановление двусторонних контактов на высшем уровне с Россией. Приглашение министра иностранных дел Сергея Лаврова посетить Великобританию было отменено, и Май также сообщила, что британские министры и члены королевской семьи не посетят чемпионат мира по футболу в России этим летом.

Великобритания пошла на дальнейшее обострение отношений с Россией вместо того, чтобы завершить собственное расследование дела Скрипалей и использовать международные инструменты сотрудничества по нему, сказано в заявлении МИД.

Премьер-министр Великобритании Тереза Мэй 14 марта объявила о высылке из страны 23 российских дипломатов. Это решение было принято после того, как Москва отказалась в 24 часа ответить на вопросы Лондона об отравлении Сергея и Юлии Скрипалей.

Thailand said on Sunday a delegation led by acting Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai would attend, after US President Donald Trump called the leaders of both countries on Saturday to press for an immediate ceasefire. The Thai government said it had been told by Malaysia that Cambodian Prime Minister Hum Manet would also attend. At least 33 soldiers and civilians have been killed while thousands of Thai and Cambodian nationals have been displaced since border fighting broke out on 24 July.
