В Ереване состоялась встреча министров обороны России и Армении

Во вторник, в Ереване, состоялась встреча министра обороны России Сергея Шойгу, который в настоящее время находится на Южном Кавказе, с министром обороны Армении Сейраном Оганяном. Шойгу прибыл в Армению вчера после короткого визита в Азербайджан, во время которого он встретился с президентом Ильхамом Алиевым.

Сегодня Сергей Шойгу также примет участие во встрече министров обороны Организации Договора о коллективной безопасности (ОДКБ), проходящей в столице Армении. Как ожидается, в заседании примут участие делегации министерств обороны Армении, Беларуси, Казахстана, Кыргызстана, России и Таджикистана, а также генеральный секретарь ОДКБ Николай Бордюжа и начальник объединенного штаба ОДКБ генерал-полковник Анатолий Сидоров, ожидается участие на встрече.

Азербайджан не является членом ОДКБ, но в последние годы военное сотрудничество с Россией было значительно усилено.

LINKS Europe has successfully completed the first phase of its project to develop the Armenia-Azerbaijan dialogue as part of its commitment within the EU4Peace III programme, funded by the European Union. In this first phase, which lasted from September 2024 to April 2025, LINKS Europe conducted an assessment of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and mobilised the personnel necessary for delivering the project output. LINKS Europe Foundation is pleased to announce the names of the chairs/co-chairs of the five thematic groups within the initiative.
