Россия вводит в Карабах две тысячи военнослужащих

Россия быстро направила две тысячи миротворцев для наблюдения за соглашением о прекращении нынешних боевых действий между Арменией и Азербайджаном.

Десять самолетов перебросили миротворческие силы в Нагорный Карабах в течение нескольких часов после подписания соглашения. Три из девяти статей соглашения касаются миротворческих сил. Они заявляют:

• Вдоль линии соприкосновения в Нагорном Карабахе и вдоль Лачинского коридора дислоцирован миротворческий контингент Российской Федерации в количестве 1960 военнослужащих со стрелковым оружием, 90 БТР, 380 единиц автомобильной и специальной техники.

• Миротворческий контингент Российской Федерации развертывается параллельно с выводом вооруженных сил Армении. Срок пребывания миротворческого контингента Российской Федерации составляет 5 лет с автоматическим продлением на следующие 5-летние периоды, если ни одна из Сторон не заявит за 6 месяцев до истечения срока намерения прекратить применение настоящего обеспечение

• В целях повышения эффективности контроля за выполнением договоренностей сторонами конфликта развертывается миротворческий центр по контролю за прекращением огня.

UK, Canada and majority of EU Member States condemn Israel for ‘inhumane killing’ and say the war in Gaza ‘must end now’.

Israel’s isolation is increasing as twenty eight countries including the United Kingdom and a majority of Member States of the European Union issued a joint statement on Monday 21 July saying the war in Gaza “must end now” and condemning Israel over 'inhumane killing' of Gaza civilians seeking aid. The foreign ministers of countries, also including Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, France, Italy and Japan, said “the suffering of civilians in Gaza has reached new depths.” The statement described as “horrifying” the recent deaths of over 800 Palestinians who were seeking aid, according to the figures released by Gaza’s Health Ministry and the U.N. human rights office.
