Политическая ситуация в Армении остается напряженной

Ситуация в Армении остается напряженной после срыва запланированных переговоров между правительством и протестующими, которые ранее вынудили подать в отставку премьер-министра Сержа Саргсяна. Лидер протестующих Никол Пашинян должен был встретиться с исполняющим обязанности премьер-министра Кареном Карапетяном в среду утром (25 апреля), но встреча была отменена, так как не было достигнуто согласия относительно формата и повестки дня встречи. Президент Армении Армен Саркисян еще раз призвал к диалогу между политическими силами.

Пашинян настаивает на назначении нового премьер-министра, который не будет являться членом правящей Республиканской партии, и который проложит путь к досрочным парламентским выборам.

Пашинян призвал проводить уличные протесты до тех пор, пока не будут достигнуты все цели протестующих.
