Глава МИД Грузии: Функционирование стратегических объектов не должно оказаться под угрозой

Важно, чтобы на нефтепроводе Баку - Тбилиси - Джейхан не было военного воздействия, поскольку это стратегический объект не только для региона, но и за ее пределами, заявил министр иностранных дел Грузии Давид Залкалиани после заседания правительства на брифинге.

"Безусловно, проекты стратегического значения, которые проходят через Южный Кавказ, являются для нас сферой интереса крайней важности, и в этом направлении ведется постоянный мониторинг. Мы разговариваем как с нашими партнерами в регионе, непосредственно с теми странами, по территории которых проходит объект стратегического значения, а также с нашими стратегическим партнерами, поскольку именно эти стратегические объекты являются гарантом безопасности региона", - заявил Залкалиани.

Исходя из этого, как разъяснил глава МИД Грузии, все заинтересованы, чтобы нормальное функционирование стратегических объектов не оказалось под угрозой.

"Для нас очень важно, чтобы на этих объектах не было военного воздействия какого-либо рода. Нефтепровод - крайне важный объект, который играет важную роль в энергобезопасности региона и Евросоюза в том числе", - отметил Залкалиани.
