Эрдоган и Путин встретятся в кулуарах саммита БРИКС в Южной Африке

Президент Турции, Реджип Тайип Эрдоган и президент России Владимир Путин, как ожидается, на этой неделе проведут встречу в кулуарах саммита БРИКС, который состоистя в Южной Африке в среду и четверг (25-26 июля).

Пять стран БРИКС - Бразилия, Китай, Индия, Россия и Южная Африка. Эрдоган примет участие в саммите в качестве нынешнего Председателя Организации Исламского сотрудничества (ОИК). Страны БРИКС формируют крупные экономики, и это группирование часто рассматривается как противостояние стран «большой семерки», которые объединяют страны с развитой экономикой мира.

Турция при президенте Эрдогане также стремится стать одной из десяти ведущих стран мира, и это ее первое участие в саммите БРИКС вряд ли станет последним.

После участия в саммите БРИКС президент Эрдоган также совершит официальный визит в Замбию. В последние годы Турция наладила тесные отношения со странами Африки, и президент Эрдоган совершил официальные визиты в двадцать африканских стран после вступления на пост президента в 2014 году. Турция также имеет обширную сеть посольств и дипломатических миссий по всему континенту.
