Австрийский председатель ОБСЕ выступил с заявлением по поводу первой годовщины апрельской войны

В своем заявлении министр иностранных дел Австрии Себастьян Курз, который в этом году является действующим председателем Организации по безопасности и сотрудничеству в Европе (ОБСЕ), сказал следующее: "Сейчас настало время сосредоточиться на прагматических и практических шагах по укреплению доверия, а также на возобновлении переговоров по существу".

"Столкновения и насилие, которые мы наблюдали год назад - самое худшее за последние два десятилетия, которые привели к разрушениям, страданиям и человеческим жертвам - это яркое напоминание о том, как быстро военный механизм может подорвать усилия по достижению мира. Мы призываем все стороны воздерживаться от любых действий, которые ставят под угрозу режим прекращение огня. Все стороны должны строго соблюдать свои международные гуманитарные обязательства - военные преступления никогда не могут быть оправданы", - сказал Курц.

Напомнив о вспышке насилия в апреле 2016 года на линии соприкосновения, он также подчеркнул свою надежду на новый импульс в переговорах: "Столкновения и серьезные нарушения прекращения огня на линии соприкосновения, которые приводили к жертвам, вызывали у нас особое беспокойство в течение всего прошедшего года. Сейчас настало время сосредоточиться на прагматических и практических шагах по укреплению доверия, а также на возобновлении переговоров по существу", - подчеркнул Курц.

В этом контексте Курц выразил сожаление в связи с дальнейшими человеческими жертвами после трагических событий апреля 2016 года и выразил свои соболезнования пострадавшим семьям. "Боевые действия, произошедшие год назад, усложняют как армянам, так и азербайджанцем поверить в мир, но, как я неоднократно заявлял, нагорно-карабахскому конфликту нет военного решения. Мы должны строить планы на мир сейчас, и не дать позволить войне вернуться со всеми ее страшными последствиями", - добавил Курц.

Курц также высоко оценил работу посла Анджея Каспшика и его команды, свидетельством чему является активное содействие в проведении гуманитарной операции Международного комитета Красного Креста в феврале 2017 года по извлечению останков погибших военнослужащих.

"Председательство ОБСЕ готово внести свой вклад в усилия сторон по дальнейшему продвижению и реализации договоренностей, достигнутых на саммитах в Вене и Санкт-Петербурге в 2016 году", - заключил Курц.

Germany accuses Russia of cyberattacks and disinformation campaign

The German government holds Russia responsible for a cyberattack on German air traffic control, and for targeted disinformation campaigns before the last federal election. According to the German Foreign Office in Berlin, the incidents could be clearly attributed to the Russian military intelligence service, the GRU. In response, the Russian ambassador to Berlin was summoned to the Foreign Ministry. "We have been observing a massive increase in threatening hybrid activities by Russia for some time now," a spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry stated. These range from disinformation campaigns and espionage to cyberattacks and sabotage attempts. The aim is to divide society, sow distrust, and undermine confidence in democratic institutions. The spokesperson added that with these actions, Russia is "very concretely threatening our security, not only through its war of aggression against Ukraine, but also here in Germany."  The Foreign Ministry spokesperson explained that the cyberattack on air traffic control in August 2024 was clearly attributed to the hacker collective "APT28," known as "Fancy Bear," and to the responsibility of the Russian military intelligence service, the GRU. Furthermore, it could now be "conclusively stated" that Russia had attempted "to influence and destabilize both the last Federal election and the ongoing internal affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany." There was "absolutely irrefutable evidence" for this". The so-called "Storm 1516" campaign, which has been running since 2024, is allegedly backed by "reliable information" that the Moscow-based think tank "Center for Geopolitical Expertise" is behind it. The Center is also said to be supported by Russian military intelligence. Its primary aim is to influence democratic elections in the West. (Click the image to read more).
