Армянский пианист выступил на руинах в Ани.

Джазовый пианист из Армении, обладатель многих наград, Тигран Амасян, 21 июня дал концерт на исторических руинах в Ани, расположенных на турецко-армянской границе.

В рамках своего проекта под названием "Луйс и Лусо," до 30 июня Амасян выступит в различных частях Турции. Он также даст концерты в 100 церквях в Армении, Грузии, Ливане, Франции, Бельгии, Швейцарии, Чехии, Англии, Германия, Люксембурге, России и США.

Амасян, которому 27 лет, начал играть на фортепиано в возрасте трех лет, в 2003 году он победил на фестивале Montreux Jazz Festival и также побеждал на конкурсе пианистов Thelonious Monk Institute. На своих концертах он играет традиционную армянскую музыку.

90-минутное выступление на древних руинах вызвало большой интерес у публики. Мастера-пианиста сопровождал Ереванский государственный камерный хор под управлением Арутюн Топикяна.

Молодая джазовая звезда напоминает своей энергией одного из инди-рок-музыкантов. В феврале он выпустил свой альбом под названием "Мокрут", композиции из которого также можно было услышать на концерте в Ани.

Тамар Нальчи, координатор проекта в культурном центре Анадолу, которая организовала концерты Амасяна в Турции, сообщила о том, что первый концерт из программы уже дан в Ани:

"Амасян - известный армянский джазовый пианист. Он дает концерты в исторических местах и храмах во многих частях мира, в сопровождении Государственного Камерного хора Армении. Это концерт церковной музыки. Он поднимается на сцену с командой из 25 человек. В то же время, во время концерта снимают документальный фильм. То, что происходит здесь исторический момент, потому как армяне эмоционально связаны с Ани из-за своего прошлого."

Dozens participate in new Armenia-Azerbaijan dialogue process as societies prepare for the signing of historic peace agreement

The governments of Armenia and Azerbaijan have recently agreed the text of a historic peace agreement that ends years of animosity and warfare. The agreement is expected to be signed soon. LINKS Europe, which has a long history of engagement with the process of peace in the region, recently launched a new Armenia-Azerbaijan dialogue format in the framework of the European Union's EU4Peace initiative. In the last two weeks dozens of Armenians and Azerbaijanis, including academics, students, civil society activists, journalists and other professionals, many of them young, were involved. The work is organised in five thematic groups focusing on peace and security, connectivity, environment, governance and gender and equality and in phase 2 of the project, which has just ended, around fifty participants took part in in-person and online meetings, and more than twenty others were involved indirectly. The Chairpersons of the five thematic groups met in Vilnius, 3-6 July to launch the third phase of the program. The five thematic groups are now working on separate reports, which are expected to be finished in November and presented to the two governments and other stakeholders. The reports will outline a vision, up to 2040.
