Армения и Россия договорились о дальнейшем сотрудничестве в сфере обороны.

Россия и Армения договорились о дальнейшем сотрудничестве в области обороны, включая создание совместных оборонных предприятий и сервисных центров для обслуживания военной техники, заявил в среду Национальной Совет безопасности Армении. В понедельник, в Ереване, встретились российская и армянская  межправительственные комиссии военно-экономического сотрудничества ОДК. Российское информационное агентство РИА Новости сообщает, что секретарь Совета национальной безопасности Армении, Артур Багдасарян, отметил, что такие совместные предприятия "будут играть большую роль в развитии оборонной промышленности Армении". На встрече чиновников ОДКБ в Ереване 29-30 января обсуждалась возможность строительства сертифицированных ремонтных и сервисных центров для обслуживания военной техники, ПВО и вертолетов на территории Армении и сборочной линии для автомобилей на шасси КАМАЗ.

Новость пришла следом за сообщением, что правительство Армении дало согласие на создание Академии ОДКБ, которая будет открыта в Ереване, соучредителем которой будет ОДКБ, ее Ереванский филиал, а также Общественный фонд поддержки дипломатии им. А. М. Горчакова при Министерстве иностранных дел России. Целью проекта является, среди прочего, содействовать "благоприятному общественному мнению об ОДКБ благодаря усилиям ученых, политологов, экспертов и молодых политических и общественных деятелей из государств-членов", говорится в пресс-релизе правительства Армении.

European States "disturbed and deeply concerned at the deteriorating situation in Georgia"

A number of European states have said that they are "disturbed and deeply concerned at the deteriorating situation in Georgia". In a Joint statement of 11 July 2025 the Foreign Ministers of Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the High Representative of the European Union commented on recent developments in Georgia We, the Foreign Ministers of European democracies, are disturbed and deeply concerned at the deteriorating situation in Georgia. We strongly condemn the recent, politically motivated, imprisonment and detention of the leaders of Georgian opposition, clearly designed to stifle political opposition in Georgia, a few months ahead of the local elections. Their detention, as well as arbitrary arrests and increasing repression of other Georgian authorities` critics, representatives of civil society, peaceful protesters and independent journalists, contribute to dismantling of democracy in Georgia and rapid transformation towards an authoritarian system, in contradiction to European norms and values. Recent legislative changes aim at stifling independent civil society and legitimate protest.
