2015 год начался со смертей, отчаяния и дезинформации в карабахском вопросе.

Для тех, кто вовлечен в нагорно-карабахский конфликт 2015 года начался плохо. Менее чем через неделю с начала нового года  уже были зарегестрированы первые жертвы. Армения сообщила о нескольких погибших. Она утверждает, что Азербайджан также понес потери, но Азербайджан опровергает эти данные, так же как и то, что инцидент имел место. Эти факты невозможно проверить, но одна или же обе стороны говорят неправду. Правда уже станавилась жертвой в контексте конфликта в 2015 году.  Обе стороны, однако, сообщают о постоянном нарушении режима прекращения огня, и утверждают, о тысячах выстрелов каждый день.

Отчаяние царит не только среди тех, кто непосредственно вовлечен в конфликт, но и среди тех, кто пытается помочь разрешить его. Отвечая на вопросы во время ежедневного брифинга в Госдепартаменте Дженнифер Псаки, пресс-секретарь Государственного департамента США, заявил:

"Мы обеспокоены сообщениями о нарушениях режима прекращения огня, а также о пострадавших за последние дни. Эти инциденты не соответствуют обязательствам, взятыми президентами Армении и Азербайджана в достижении мирного урегулирования нагорно-карабахского конфликта. В качестве одного из сопредседателей Минской группы ОБСЕ, мы продолжаем призывать, как вы уже знаете, к переговорам на самом высоком уровне, которые смогут привести к мирному соглашению и инициируют меры по снижению вероятности таких событий вдоль линии соприкосновения и вдоль границы. Это остается в центре нашего внимания".

"Трудно вспомнить год, который начинался бы так же плохо на линии фронта нагорно-карабахского конфликта за последние двадцать лет. Даже если мы посмотрим только на потери, которые уже были подтверждены ясно, что мы видим очень плохое начало года. Существует необходимость нового старта мирного процесса, но на данный момент нет никаких признаков, что это произойдет. В то же время можно предположить, что поток жертв будет продолжен и можно только надеяться, что этот ручеек не станет потопом в течение года".

Germany accuses Russia of cyberattacks and disinformation campaign

The German government holds Russia responsible for a cyberattack on German air traffic control, and for targeted disinformation campaigns before the last federal election. According to the German Foreign Office in Berlin, the incidents could be clearly attributed to the Russian military intelligence service, the GRU. In response, the Russian ambassador to Berlin was summoned to the Foreign Ministry. "We have been observing a massive increase in threatening hybrid activities by Russia for some time now," a spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry stated. These range from disinformation campaigns and espionage to cyberattacks and sabotage attempts. The aim is to divide society, sow distrust, and undermine confidence in democratic institutions. The spokesperson added that with these actions, Russia is "very concretely threatening our security, not only through its war of aggression against Ukraine, but also here in Germany."  The Foreign Ministry spokesperson explained that the cyberattack on air traffic control in August 2024 was clearly attributed to the hacker collective "APT28," known as "Fancy Bear," and to the responsibility of the Russian military intelligence service, the GRU. Furthermore, it could now be "conclusively stated" that Russia had attempted "to influence and destabilize both the last Federal election and the ongoing internal affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany." There was "absolutely irrefutable evidence" for this". The so-called "Storm 1516" campaign, which has been running since 2024, is allegedly backed by "reliable information" that the Moscow-based think tank "Center for Geopolitical Expertise" is behind it. The Center is also said to be supported by Russian military intelligence. Its primary aim is to influence democratic elections in the West. (Click the image to read more).
