Вардану Осканяну официально предъявлено обвинение в отмывании и присвоении денег

Экс-министру иностранных дел Армении, депутату от партии <Процветающая Армения> Вардану Осканяну официально предъявлено обвинение по статьям 179 и 190 УК РА (отмывание и присвоение денег).

Обвинение было предъявлено Осканяну 8 октября, когда депутат был приглашен в Службу национальной безопасности для дачи показаний. Ранее Осканян заявил, что в соответствии с полученной им повесткой он пойдет в СНБ, но не даст показания по <сфабрикованному> против него делу.

Напомним, что Служба национальной безопасности при правительстве Республики Армения возбудила против фонда "Сивилитас" уголовное дело по признакам части 3 статьи 190 УК РА ("Легализация доходов, полученных незаконным путем: в особо крупных размерах; организованной группой; с использованием должностного положения"). Руководство "Сивилитас" обвиняется в неуплате налогов, и в тоже время нецелевом использовании благотворительных средств. 1 октября генеральный прокурор Армении представил в парламенте РА ходатайство о лишении депутатской неприкосновенности члена фракции партии "Процветающая Армения", руководителя фонда <Сивилитас> Вардана Осканяна. Подавляющим большинством голосов ходатайство было удовлетворено.

The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly has called for the immediate release of all political prisoners in Georgia in a declaration adopted during the Assembly’s 32nd annual session held in Porto, Portugal on 3 July. The declaration expressed alarm over the developments since the parliamentary elections held on 26 October last year including reports of arbitrary detentions, violence and ill-treatment of protesters, opposition leaders and media representatives, as documented by civil society organizations and the Public Defender of Georgia. The declaration also called for new elections to be held in Georgia.
