Посол Азербайджана в Иране:

Посол Азербайджана в Иране Джаваншир Ахундов подтвердил информацию о том, что Азербайджан закупает у Израиля вооружения на рекордную сумму в 1,6 млрд. долларов. Он подчеркнул, что это вооружение будет использовано исключительно для освобождения «оккупированных территорий Азербайджана».

Как сообщает иранское агентство IRNA, накануне Ахундова вызвали в МИД Ирана для разъяснений по поводу заключенной сделки о вооружениях. Отметим, что в последнее время в СМИ распространилась информация о том, что Израиль готовится напасть на Иран с целью «уничтожения ядерных объектов последнего”.

Азербайджанский посол пояснил, что закупленные вооружения и технологии на общую сумму 1,5 миллиарда долларов «не будут представлять угрозы третьим странам, и в особенности Ирану».

Turkey is negotiating with Qatar and Oman to acquire used Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets as part of its effort to bolster its air force capabilities. Following a three-day tour of Kuwait, Qatar, and Oman last week in which he oversaw the signing of several agreements, including in the defense sector, President  Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkey aims to purchase dozens of Eurofighters and other advanced jets as a stopgap measure to strengthen its fleet until its domestically developed fifth-generation KAAN fighter jet becomes operational.
