Мирные протесты парализовали движение в Ереване

Протестующие заблокировали все основные дороги в столице Армении, в Ереване, на следующий день после того, как парламент не избрал Никола Пашиняна на пост премьер-министра, что привело к углублению политического кризиса в стране.

Протестующие с утра заблокировали движение на дороге в аэропорт и перекрыли подьезды к главному правительственному зданию.

Студенты в нескольких ереванских университетах, как сообщается, объявили забастовку.

Обращаясь вчера к сторонникам на главной площади Еревана, Никол Пашинян сказал, что отступление не является вариантом, и что движение уже одержало победу, и что еще нужно будет сделать, чтобы похоронить правящую Республиканскую партию, которая в любом случае больше не контролирует страну.

The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly has called for the immediate release of all political prisoners in Georgia in a declaration adopted during the Assembly’s 32nd annual session held in Porto, Portugal on 3 July. The declaration expressed alarm over the developments since the parliamentary elections held on 26 October last year including reports of arbitrary detentions, violence and ill-treatment of protesters, opposition leaders and media representatives, as documented by civil society organizations and the Public Defender of Georgia. The declaration also called for new elections to be held in Georgia.
