Карен Карапетян выдвинут на пост премьер-министра Армении

Карен Карапетян выдвинут на пост премьер-министра Армении. Об этом было объявлено в Ереване, в четверг, в ходе заседания правящей Республиканской партии. Выдвижение Карапетяна произошло после отставки нынешнего премьера Овика Абрамяна.

Карапетян раннее занимал пост мэра Еревана, а сейчас является председателем армянского подразделения российской компании "Газпром".

По словам политического редактора Commonspace.eu, "отставка Абрамяна не было неожиданностью. В период после кризиса вокруг ситуации с заложниками в Эребуни этим летом, и последовавших общественных протестов стало ясно, что правительство Армении должно предпринять шаги для решения проблем, которые беспокоят общественность касательно положения дел в стране. Сразу после разрешения ситуации в Эребуни президент пообещал больше консенсуса в политике. Новый премьер-министр, скорее всего, попытаться сформировать правительство, которое будет включать в себя более широкий спектр мнений. Но что более важно то, что эти перемены призваны оживить армянскую экономику и остановить период спада".

In this first phase, which lasted from September 2024 to April 2025, LINKS Europe conducted an assessment of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and mobilised the personnel necessary for delivering the project output. LINKS Europe Foundation is pleased to announce the names of the chairs/co-chairs of the five thematic groups within the initiative.
